Ron Larsen would be better off spending more time discussing the merits of his position on expansion of Paine Field and less time making unfounded innuendoes against Hank Robinett (letter, Feb. 2).
Through years of knowing Mr. Robinett, I have found him to be a caring, energetic, concerned citizen. He is a successful businessman whose philanthropy and personal involvement in non-profit organizations has made him a role model for me.
I understand Mr. Larsen’s concerns about increased airport traffic, especially because he resides in the flight path. We have serious issues facing us because of our growth in Snohomish County, and we need to work together in providing solutions. However, having a vibrant business climate benefits our community and if it is determined that passenger service at Paine Field would indeed lure good companies to our county, we should perform our due diligence in considering the possibility.
In the meantime, let’s stick to the issues and avoid personal attacks.
