Stick with Jesus’ apolitical side

In the past week, The Herald has printed one letter arguing that Jesus Christ was a liberal and another that he was a conservative. If this continues, it is inevitable that one or more of the presidential candidates will declare Jesus a “flip flopper” and urge us not to vote for Him!

Perhaps we should declare a moratorium on attempts to co-opt Jesus to our political affiliations.
