The most important decision any organization can make is in hiring its leaders, because the right choice can have long-lasting impacts in so many ways. Everett voters have the opportunity to make one of those key decisions by electing Brenda Stonecipher to the Everett City Council.
In this difficult economy, her professional background as a certified public accountant, combined with her focus on keeping the city on a solid financial foundation, will be a tremendous resource as the council makes pivotal budget decisions. But Brenda is more than just a “numbers person.” Her service on the Planning Commission, and her time given to public organizations, demonstrates commitment to this community, a clear and far-ranging vision for its future and the energy to help take us there. We have also found her willing and eager to listen to a broad spectrum of voices and opinions, displaying an openness which will be vital as Everett moves forward.
For all these reasons, we urge voters to join us on Nov. 4 in supporting Brenda Stonecipher for Everett City Council.
