Jeff Sax asks, “How will new council solve density puzzle?” (guest commentary, Dec. 29). If I’m not mistaken, he probably was party to helping cause the density problem when he was on the County Council. It seems that most, if not all, in official positions have the same mind set. It is, “We have to create jobs. We have to improve the economy.” That and their desire to increase their tax base so they can try to fix what they have caused by inviting in all the business and industry they can. Seems like that brings in more people and furthers the density problem. More than half of our problems are caused by over-population and nobody has guts enough to do anything about it.
I have an idea how to solve the density puzzle. Stop inviting in more people. Of course realtors, like Jeff Sax, wouldn’t like that because they wouldn’t be able to sell as many houses.
Maybe we could add another lane to I-5 and make it a wider parking lot.
