As I was watching the news, I heard a teacher from Marysville say that she left a meeting in tears because she’s not sure when she’ll go back to school again.
Please allow me to call 9-1-1 for the “wambulance.” I’m so sick of hearing these teachers whine about their contracts! The fact is you’re holding our children’s education hostage for the almighty dollar. Pardon me for not feeling bad. It’s never been a secret that teachers don’t make a lot of money nor has it been a secret that teachers have struggled for years to provide the bare necessities to teach our children. However, most teachers say that they got into the profession for the love of teaching not for the money.
If I were the deciding factor, I’d fire the lot of them and hire a whole new batch who would appreciate being off the unemployment line.
