This is a thank you to a woman I did not know, for an act of compassion.
On Thursday, Oct. 11, I went to Diamond Veterinary Hospital, to retrieve the body of our precious dachshund Zoey. She had died during the night of Addison’s disease. I was visibly upset, because I loved Zoey so much.
Anyway, this lady came over to me and said I needed a hug, and the effects lasted all day. An act of kindness from a complete stranger: it was nice.
So thank you, dear lady, I’ll never forget your act of kindness that morning.
