Regarding the July 16 article, “Dad presses ahead with suit against Everett schools”:
Bless Christine Lewis. She did something wrong at school, haven’t we all, and she has the integrity and the maturity to say, “I did it. I was wrong, it was my fault and I am responsible for what I did. My punishment was just and I accept it.”
What a flower in the desert. I’m proud of her and don’t even know her. She has more moral fiber than a lot of adults, including people in government.
We need more people like her and fewer people like her father, who says she doesn’t understand her constitutional rights and will show her how to beat the system on a technicality.
God bless you, Christine. Good for you.
