I am an MP parent. I am speaking for myself when I ask you to please stop printing anything about what happened. We have all been through so much; it’s our time to heal and move on. Our lives have forever changed because of what happened. I will never forget the terror I felt and the tears that flowed that day. I pray no one else goes through what we have had to endure. I helped cheer the students back among hundreds of others on their first day back after the shooting. I saw their faces as they returned solemn and scared. I and others volunteered to spend hours at the school, at lunch walking around talking to the students as they ate. We walked around campus to be a presence if a student needed comfort. I watched as we removed the wall of remembrance. These students do not need to relive the day. They do not need to be reminded of the events of that day, we all will have that memory forever. Leave the details of that day in the past where it belongs. We are MP strong. Please leave it in the past. Please.
