As a grandparent who has three grandchildren in the Snohomish School District, I try to keep up on what is going on in the schools there. The students at Glacier Peak, who helped their fellow student, a young lady with failing sight, gave this Gramma a big smile and a full heart. (Dec. 16 article, “A taste of driving.”) To help Ali drive for the first time and probably the only time in her life was amazing!
With all the sadness happening across our country right now, this could not have come at a better time! Our young have hearts and care about this world just as we hoped they would! Congratulations to the students!
