I understand that the teachers of Marysville are refusing to attend school until they can make an agreement with the school board. Considering that the economy is so low, wouldn’t it be hard to raise their pay? Since the school board is threatening to cut their pay, and the teachers want it raised, why not save all this trouble and keep it the same?
I was crushed when I found out I couldn’t attend school. My sister has been sitting in front of the television waiting for teachers to change their minds. Most teachers wouldn’t understand, but there are students who are really upset. Ever since school ended last year, we have been waiting for school to start up again. Why should the students be punished when they didn’t do anything wrong?
I know this letter isn’t going to make a huge difference, but it’s just something to think about.
