The students must lead because the adults won’t. The students should organize all across the country and demand a lot more money and resources for mental health and gun control.
If gun magazines were limited to five rounds you’d have to reload and maybe not as many people would be shot. For target practice, just buy more clips. Congress couldn’t even ban bump stocks.
This cannot be done with two or three weeks of protest. It took the students two or three years to stop the Vietnam War. They should stay constantly on their parents to take action. Check which members of Congress got large donations from the NRA and which way they voted. Same with the state legislators. Votes (with enough of them) can be stronger than bribery. It will happen over and over.
