In regard to the March 2 letter by Ethan Moya about costly e-books for schools: As a 60-year-old adult I have great pride in this young man. My compliments to his parents.
I have been fortunate to live in Everett for 40 years. It brings tears to my eyes to know that there are young men and women in this area and in this great nation who can see that you must know history to be able to see the mistakes of the past and prevent them in the future.
Never let us forget the sacrifices of the past so that we may live in the present and look a little bit to the future. Kudos to Ethan Moya.
