Addiction or disease? I, for one, couldn’t care less. As a frequent visitor to adult drug court, I doubt the participants really care, either.
Knowing what the recovery program requires of them, I applaud their effort and suffer with their stumbles. Attending a drug court graduation ceremony causes one to focus on the real issue: success rather than cause.
