Survivor shows power of mind

The mind is a powerful instrument.

The great April 30 article about Jeff Guidry and Freedom the eagle portrayed the power of the mind in healing. (“Eagle and Monroe man are a pair of survivors”.)

It is wonderful that Jeff researched the use of visualization to help his treatment. Doctors, surgery and medications can only go so far in healing.

There is a plethora of information for help in empowering people to be part of their healing process. Practitioners in interactive/integrated imagery and other links for alternative therapies can be found on the Imagery International Web site.

One should never underestimate the power of the mind in healing, coping and accepting what life has given us.

Jeff Guidry has proven that empowerment of self healing.
