Regarding the Dec. 1 article, “Guilty Plea in hit and run that paralyzed man.” “The fleeing driver later told detectives his windshield was fogged up.” Sorry, that’s a lame excuse. We all need to be reminded of any motorist’s responsibility before driving off.
Ensure all windows are visually clear of snow, fog, rain or whatever. More than once every winter after a snowstorm, I see cars on the road with their back window blanketed with snow, which is by the way a ticket-able offense. People, please take an extra minute to clear all windows; it could save a life (maybe yours) or someone’s being able to walk again.
