Taxes, taxes, taxes … 25-35 percent right off the top on your paycheck, depending on your situation. One of the highest gasoline taxes in the nation. Now nearly 10 percent sales tax on most items, and if you’re one of the unlucky few to get hit with a sin tax on items such as cigarettes, alcohol and now candy and soda pop, you can expect to pay almost 15 percent on those items.
Do the math and you can see why we are facing one of the worst economic times in history. I want to thank the Democrats (Socialists) for their tax-and-spend ideology. I look forward to another multi-billion-dollar stimulus paid for by all these taxes … not.
