My wife and I are both over 70 years old. We live in an unincorporated area of South Snohomish County. Every year for the past five years our real estate assessment has gone down, and our taxes have gone up. How am I supposed to believe that Snohomish County government and tax districts are trying to save money and do more with less when my our taxes go up every year?
I guess we should be thankful that they are only going up as much as they have, since who knows how high they would be if Snohomish County government was not trying to save money!
