I read with interest the March 12 article about the Teen Challenge Drug/Alcohol recovery house in Lake Stevens (“Rehab moves into Lake Stevens area”).
Over the years I have had several of my clients enroll in the Teen Challenge Program. It is a rigorous and challenging program that requires not only a change of behavior, but also a change of heart. The clients of mine who have stayed the minimum of one year have had an excellent record of recovery from their addictions.
From the interactions I have had with this program I can assure the neighbors that they will have a responsible neighbor who will be an asset to the Lake Stevens community.
