Tell us the total amount raised

United Way had an important ad in the March 27 Herald thanking volunteers and major donors for their participation in the 2007 campaign. Although the ad mentioned millions of dollars raised, it did not give the total amount raised. It is important for donors to know the campaign total, and the funds agencies other than United Way received. As a former United Way board member, I sincerely believe that another ad or article stating this information is crucial for donors and for United Way in the future.
