This is in response to Kathleen Parker’s column on March 4, titled “Aging Senate good argument for term limits.” It is really telling that she only mentioned the Senate and not the House.
First off I too am for term limits but not age discrimination of older people. In America even if someone is 60-plus years old or up to whatever age they are free to run for office or have an opinion. If they win then they are there at the behest of the voters. Just because someone is younger does not make them a better representative in all things right and fair.
Last, it is way past time to stop using the “OK, boomer” put down of older people. Rude behavior is always rude behavior.
