Thank Gregg Hoff for lighting up city

On behalf of the Downtown Edmonds Merchants’ Association, I want to acknowledge Gregg Hoff at Edmonds Windermere for lighting up downtown this year. Edmonds looks so beautiful with white lights outlining the buildings and all the trees and the fountain twinkling in the dark, thanks to Mr. Hoff’s generous spirit.

Mr. Hoff paid for all of the lights the city put up, and he also donated lights and supplies to a citizen of Edmonds who takes it upon himself each year to climb up on the roofs to see that the town sparkles. Whenever there is a power outage this man, who wishes not to be named, climbs back up on the roofs to reset the timers and keep the holiday spirit alight.

The glittering lights, decorated store windows and cheerful shoppers make for a very festive atmosphere this holiday season, and I invite your readers to come to downtown Edmonds to see for themselves.
