I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Snohomish Kiwanis Club for the support they have given in time, finances and compassionate ways toward needs in the Snohomish community and in other worthwhile projects.
I would like to say thank you to the Snohomish Kiwanis and all involved in their yearly benefit auction. They have chosen to use their designated giving to support the Everett Gospel Rescue Mission’s “Lydia House” in Snohomish.
This is a transitional home offered to women who have completed the life discipleship program of the mission, giving them opportunities through education, outside employment, partially paying their own way in a self-governing atmosphere which instills hope and confidence, enabling them to step back in to a productive life of their own. This is wonderful to see. I am so fortunate to be a part of this organization.
Through this generous gift from the Snohomish Kiwanis and those who supported them by donating auction items and those in attendance, we will be able to add refinements to Lydia House that will benefit those involved now and in the future.
Snohomish, be proud of your Kiwanis for they are valuable citizens and are a part of the good news we all love to hear.
Thank you, again.
