On Nov. 10, my wife and I had the privilege of attending breakfast and an assembly sponsored by the students of Lake Stevens High School for Veterans Day. From the moment we arrived in the parking lot we received a warm welcome from the students thanking us for my military service. The assembly was also great as the students, orchestra and soloists paid tribute to those of us who served our country in military service. I was impressed by the conduct of the students and the knowledge they had of the value of those of us who have served our country in military service. This comes from the staff of Lake Stevens High School and led by the principal Eric Cahan. Anyone connected to Lake Stevens High School should be proud of the students and staff of Lake Stevens High School And we thank you.
