Many thanks to the sportswriters of The Herald for their recent write up on the career change of my No. 1 (first born) grandson, Brent Lillibridge. (Tuesday article by Rich Myhre, “Lillibridge is teaching others how to play the game he loves”).
I will miss the thrill of watching him “play ball,” but won’t be missing the rise in my blood pressure each time he was “at bat.”
I know he will be a kind and caring coach and any kid lucky enough to be under his tutelage will be the better young man for it, all around.
Brent’s No. 1 fan, Nana.
