It’s time to acknowledge and thank the people who give their time to work with the developmentally delayed young people that would otherwise be left behind in after-school activities. Most of them never get to do what other kids do. But because of a wonderful lady named Aimee and others who volunteer their time to help make things possible, they had their first time ever talent show.
I have two of these wonderful students who not only got to be in a talent show, but for the first time ever, went to camp in Canada. They were gone for a whole week and we’re still hearing about the zipline and fun. It is something they will never forget and neither will we. We are so grateful to Aimee and all the parents who made it possible.
Thank you again so much.
