Thanks for making clothing giveaway a success

This year’s third annual Back to School Clothing Giveaway at Messiah Lutheran Church and Preschool was a great success. We had the largest turnout yet and all recipients seemed very thankful and pleased with this event. It is so wonderful to be able to help our neighbors and serve the community. This clothing drive would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of many volunteers and the generous donations from Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart, Costco, the Oshkosh B’gosh outlet, the Leggs, Hanes, Bali and Playtex outlet, the Tommy Hilfiger outlet and donations from many citizens of Marysville. We’d also like to thank Prime Self Storage of Marysville, The Herald and the Marysville Globe for continued support of the Back to School Clothing Giveaway.

Comment: What the ceasefire means; and what it doesn’t

Hopes for a broader Mideast peace are faint at best, but stability provides a path for further agreements.
