Thanks for quick report, response to Everett marina boat fire

Smoke was reported coming from our boathouse in the Central Marina H-dock at the Port of Everett on Tuesday evening around 5:30 pm. Four fire engines and approximately 20 firefighters contained the fire to the boat inside but it had started burning the boathouse structure when they arrived.

We would like to thank the person that spotted the fire and reported it. We would also like to send our thanks to the Everett Fire Department and those great firefighters that got to the fire so fast and avoided a possible disaster by extinguishing the flames before they spread to other boathouses at the Port. Thank you.
