I want to thank Sens. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, as well as Rep. Rick Larsen, for voting to not renew the Patriot Act. They all voted for restoring American rights and against fear-mongering. Unfortunately, a majority in Congress did not vote to restore our rights and the act was renewed.
Perhaps the next time it comes up for renewal a majority in Congress will choose what’s right for our country over unconstitutional big government intrusions into our lives.
