Thanks to all for successful fundraiser

The first “A Meal That Heals” fundraiser held by Safe Harbor Free Clinic Oct. 15 at Tazer Valley Farm was a splendid success. The administration at Safe Harbor Free Clinic, a nonprofit corporation extending medical care and referral services to uninsured and underinsured in the tri-county area of Snohomish, Skagit and Island counties, wants to thank the many generous individuals in the community who contributed to this event and supported our efforts.

Penway Media provided the beautiful invitations to the event. With a keen eye to detail, Quackers (Judi Bloom and Lynne Gore) decorated the venue. The beautiful table centerpieces and an arrangement for the raffle were provided by Jungle Luv. Merrill Gardens, QFC, Silvana Meats and Haggen supplied delicious appetizers. Camano Island Coffee Roasters provided the wonderful coffee. Just Desserts (Lisa McCammond) donated a stunningly decorated cake which was enjoyed by all. Tazer Valley Farm provided a most beautiful venue including all the furnishings and guidance to make this a very special event.

A very special thank you is extended to Enrigue Henoa and Loia Faalmulifor sharing their musical talents with our guests and volunteers and to Jennifer Warne for speaking from her heart.

We had many volunteers who helped create an enjoyable, warm and inviting environment: Mike Genovese (Camano Cellars), Michael Hughes, Cricket Wilson, Dori Riggs, Ron Braaten, Josh and Jessica Weigand, Leslie Hauck (Youth for Christ), Cathy Bernhard, David and Julie Ferguson, Debbie Wilson and her husband, Annie Buxton, Donna Cassilico, Terri Bomgardner and her brother, Karen and Frank Schmidt, Joan Haidle, Mark and Ann Peterson, Dwaine and Trena Howe, Celia Hartley, Jackie Humes-Fear, and Bill Kluin. Thank you to all of you.

As an organization that operates on individual donations, foundation grants and corporate support, we deeply appreciate the generous contributions and support of all these organizations and individuals.
