A hearty thank you to all involved with helping to find the Edmonds boy after he was dropped off at the wrong bus stop. (Thursday article, “School bus misplaces Edmonds boy; family left shaken.”)
My deepest appreciation extends to the boy’s mother ,who clearly loves him so much. My brother is autistic, and I too, think the worst anytime my brother deviates from his precise schedule. My brother is now 35 years old, but I didn’t realize until reading Thursday’s story just how amazing my brother’s school bus driver was — she went to great strides to keep him safe. I admit my bias — I break into tears whenever I read a story about people rallying together to help people with special needs — and today is no exception.
Thank you again to all who stepped forward to help the boy. And thank you, decades later, to the bus driver who was so very good to my brother.
