The Citizens for Camano Island Fire and Rescue Bond Issue Committee would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every citizen who voted to pass the bond issue. With your vote, the bond issue passed with an unprecedented majority of over 65 percent of the votes cast. Thanks to your vote we are already beginning to put some of the programs into operation that will certainly save lives in the future.
We would also like to thank all of those citizens for their financial support and others who volunteered their time and property to display signs and encourage everyone to vote for this program that is so important for safety of the citizens of Camano Island. We would also like to thank The Herald for their positive coverage of the bond Issue.
