I recently went to the Marysville Rotary’s Pumpkins for Literacy Pumpkin Patch at the Smokey Point Plant Farm and couldn’t believe what I saw: a couple of Roy Robinson Chevrolet employees working the patch. I found out that since most Rotarians have day jobs and can’t be at the patch during work hours, the owners and management of the car dealer sent their employees to cover the pumpkin patch duties.
It was heartwarming to see because in today’s economy where businesses struggle, including car dealers like Roy Robinson Chevrolet, they care enough about the community to donate time and money to a program that benefits area children. Thank you!
