Way to go, Herald Publisher Emeritus Larry Hanson! I appreciated your statement in Sunday’s The Daily Herald (advertisement on Page B3) about your commitment to quality journalism.
When our current president was elected, the word went out that in order to ensure the preservation of accurate and responsible news reporting, one should subscribe to your local newspaper. It was explained that the local news is where news stories start brewing.
So I subscribed at once to The Daily Herald. And after reading Mr. Hanson’s statement about his commitment to quality journalism, I’m glad I did. It is nice to have that assurance in these troubled times where everything seems to have gone down the rabbit hole.
Thank you, Mr Hanson, and thank you to the reporters who are committed to keeping “fake news” out of the pages of The Daily Herald.
