Thank you to M.R. Keading at the Arlington Police Department! Recently, I was on my way home on Highway 9 in rush-hour traffic. I had heard a noise coming from my left front tire. I pulled over to the shoulder to look. My tire was torn. When I got back in the car, the tire actually blew open wider and went flat. Mr. Keading was the police officer who responded. He suggested calling Les Schwab to see if they would come and change the tire. They told him it would be a half hour. It was a hot day (90s). He was so nice to stay with me and my girls (age 13 and 11) as we waited for them to come and help. He stood on the passenger side of the car and talked to us. It was nice to have him there, as that is not the safest place to be for a broken-down car. Mr. Keading is a fine example of a police officer! I just want to say thank you for making a tense, scary event into something bearable.
To the Les Schwab employee: Thank you for changing my tire on that busy highway. I didn’t get your name but I do appreciate all you did!
On two different occasions, as I was waiting for a police officer, I had two men stop and ask if I needed any help. Thank you for your kindness.
It is nice to know that there are kind people who are willing to help you! Thank you to all who helped my girls and I get home safely!
