Thanks to voters for backing 7-member fire district board

Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue would like to thank the community for its support to maintain our current seven-member Board of Fire Commissioners in the Feb. 14 special election.

We are the second largest fire district in Snohomish County, and we’re growing. A seven-member board is appropriate for our population and provides valuable representation for the number of residents and businesses we serve. Maintaining a seven-member board will not increase the district’s budget.

The Board of Fire Commissioners is committed to providing the best fire, EMS and rescue services while ensuring financial stewardship. The board meets twice a month, and all meetings are open to the public.

We are honored to serve our community and grateful for your ongoing support.

Fire Chief Kevin O’Brien
