Question: I co-signed on a mortgage with my father. Dad’s going bankrupt. Is my credit ruined?

Answer: Don’t listen to the “experts.” Co-signing on loans can be a dandy experience. Why, The Buzz once co-signed on a car loan for our stepdaughter’s then-boyfriend. A year or so later, we started getting these nice phone calls during dinnertime from the finance company. Then we became the proud possessor of a 1989 Honda Prelude S (for slow) with low compression in cylinders two and three. See? It worked out great!

Question: Is my Elvis Presley wine bottle worth any money?

Answer: Don’t know about the bottle, but that wine … I’m getting a nose of Dilaudid, with some Valium and Demerol notes, and a fried-peanut-butter-and-banana sandwich finish. Drink now, or cellar for five years.

Question: Why did Ken Griffey Jr. change his mind and decide to be wearing a Mariners uniform when he pulls a hamstring this baseball season?

Answer: Apparently, Junior remembered he’d be spraining his ankle in the outfield in Atlanta, since the National League won’t let him DH.
