The employees made that place the best

I was sad to read that Crown Image will be closing its doors.

It doesn’t surprise me that the digital era has made the closing necessary.

I used to spend tons of money there, but since going to high-end digital gear I’ve only used them for specific enlargements and not nearly the same amount of printing.

Crown is a photo “lab” and more expensive than drug stores, but you get what you pay for. I gladly paid more for the high quality.

But what I’ll miss the most are the people there. There is no other place that I get the level of customer service I get at Crown. I’m greeted by name when I come in. From former to current employees, they have all been great. Jim, Jan, Rhoda, Sara, Michelle, Sandy, Van (I apologize if I’ve left anyone out), thank you so much for the many years of developing and printing, but especially your wonderful service and stories and times we chatted. I’ll miss you all and wish you the best.
