I have lived in Lake Stevens for five years now and it has been a wonderful experience. My children are active in school, Boy Scouts and baseball. I enjoy seeing friends, acquaintances and familiar faces at events, out shopping or just for a stroll. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
I have heard mixed opinions regarding the growth around Lake Stevens, and since I was part of some of that growth, I had mixed feelings myself, until recently. In the last four or so months I have been honked at, yelled at and flipped off. I can deal with additional traffic and bad attitudes. I’m a grownup, right? But now my son has experienced it in school. That’s enough!
I just want to say, welcome to Lake Stevens, but leave the bad attitude in your old neighborhood. Be nice, behave and make sure your children do the same.
