The Dec. 19 Sunday Herald had an interesting way to get your point across about the importance of a local newspaper to the citizens of your market area: a blank front page.
Have you ever thought about publishing a paper that had balanced news for everyone in the community? When you constantly publish Opinion articles written by Washington Post columnists, you identify yourselves as a left-leaning organization and have already long lost credibility with anyone who is not of your political opinion.
The Trump era Opinion pages and reprints of news stories were straight out of the left-leaning media organizations. You continue to print letters to the editor from our local Trump Derangement Syndrome readers; you even included a letter from a known TDS sufferer in that Sunday’s paper.
The Biden administration has been a disaster with inflation, twice the population of Snohomish County entering our country illegally in the past 12 months and of course the disaster of leaving our military equipment for the Taliban, who then shared the technology with China and Russia. Why is the failing Biden Administration given a pass in your newspaper?
Perhaps if you published a newspaper for everyone in your market area, you would have a profitable business and not need to ask the public for handouts. It has been sad to watch the demise of your newspaper. Evidently, you don’t get it!
