The return of Slick Rick? Former UW football coach Rick Neuheisel could be back in the Pac-10 as the next coach at UCLA.

UCLA seems pretty keen on Neuheisel. He probably wouldn’t help the Bruins improve on the field, but their March Madness office pool would be second to none.

In other football news, Jessica Simpson is being blamed for the poor play of her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, in Sunday’s loss.

Star receiver Terrell Owens joined fans in saying she should stay away to keep from jinxing things. Just to be safe, she also needs to stay away from recording studios and movie sets.

More celebrity news: Britney Spears’ mom has a deal to write a parenting book, but it’s been delayed after word that her other daughter, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn, is pregnant.

The book was due out in spring, but the publisher needs to rework it into a horror story.

All dressed in two-ply: A woman got married wearing a gown made entirely of Charmin toilet paper.

Keeping with tradition, the groom kissed the bride, but he was not allowed to squeeze her.
