I hope Snohomish County residents who settled here for the peace and quiet near the big city will think twice about the benefits of locating a NASCAR track between Marysville and Arlington. We would give up our peaceful Sundays to the grind of the race cars. You know those little gas-powered remote cars the kids run on the street in front of your house? Remember how annoying the noise from just one of those is? Multiply that and think of no way to lose it without leaving your home behind. Development without quality of life isn’t really worth it in the long run. Please let Herald reporters keep tabs on the folks who push for this and let us know where they live in relation to the track.
