Twinkies return!
More Soylent Green? When Hostess Twinkies return to store shelves Monday, you’ll be able to keep them for up to 45 days, rather than the 26 days that the brand’s previous owner stated as the shelf life for the spongy creme-filled cakes. The new owners of Hostess have declined to say what changes were made to Twinkies to extend their shelf life.
Nor is it saying what your family will save on embalming charges when the time comes if you made Twinkies a regular snack.
