A big thank you to Joel Starr for believing that “the show must go on.” He stood in front of the symphony, cracked jokes at his own expense, and apologized to the crowd for last year’s lack of thunder. It takes guts to be the fall guy, and my husband and I appreciate that he still came back. It was also a welcome respite from traveling to Seattle to see a good fireworks display. Congratulations on attaining nonprofit status, and we’ll see you next year!
