I would like to express my personal gratitude to Mr. Boyce Clark for again reminding Herald readers of the sacrifices made by so many brave men and women who not only stopped the flow of communism, but also saved a budding nation from tyranny and strife. (Friday letter, “Our nation’s duty is to never forget.”) The so-called “Forgotten War” is certainly remembered by those who fought and served there, and as Mr. Clark pointed out, we must express our gratitude and make certain that their efforts will never be forgotten.
Mr. Boyce Clark is one of those brave Marine Corps warriors who carries the scars of that war. To him, I say: Thank you for your service and Semper Fi from a brother marine.
