Wait a minute! Roger DeHart can’t even teach “intelligent design” as a theory? Aren’t public schools dedicated to providing a liberal education, to teaching kids to thoughtfully consider all possible solutions to a problem? Yes, an open-minded person would consider the possibility that life was created by a fortuitous combination of chemicals and a natural event, but that leaves even more questions:
1. Why haven’t we ever observed this or been able to duplicate it?
2. How does all the incredible beauty in our world (snowflake patterns, for example) come from an occurrence like that?
Schools should teach children to think, not blindly follow doctrines the system promotes.
