There’s reason not to respect system

What’s with the dismay? While I’ve never missed an opportunity to vote, I understand why many of my non-voting friends don’t – they’ve lost respect for the system. That’s exemplified by the often heard remark, “Why vote? They’ll just do what they want to anyway.’ I see some truth in their argument. Of late, there has been too much of that going on
