These people must stop having kids

Regarding the Friday article, “91,000 babies abused in one year, report finds”:

My question is: Why are kids and adults having children when they either can’t take care of them, won’t take care of them, abuse them, or kill them? I don’t understand this at all. Take birth control or get sterilized, but stop having kids.

The statistics said that 1 in 50 children suffers abuse or neglect. Why should this be happening, with so many families and single people out there who want children so badly, who maybe can’t have them? The man who put his child in the microwave, the woman who jumped off the bridge with her two children, the man who just recently drowned his two children so his wife couldn’t have them, and on and on. This is not just sad, it’s a sick state of affairs that these people continue to have kids, that they are allowed to have kids. How can a human being kill or harm a child? I don’t understand it at all, and it makes me absolutely angry and sad and I have no idea how to begin to help these poor children!
