Thank God for the true American patriots who have finally challenged Sen. John Kerry’s character, or lack thereof. All America should be grateful to John O’Neill and Jerome Corsi, co-authors of their new book, “Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry.”
Inasmuch as the senator made Vietnam the centerpiece of his campaign, he must now answer his challengers. Sen. Kerry should have been made to prove the charges he laid before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in 1971. Under oath he trashed the men he served with in Vietnam. He told horrific stories detailing the numerous unspeakable atrocities, committed by himself and other American troops. Instead of investigating these unsubstantiated accounts of atrocities, the Senate Committee did absolutely nothing. In fact, the Fulbright Committee heaped praise on Kerry for his testimony. This must have been the forerunner of the Senate Intelligence Oversight Committee, which in itself is an oxymoron.
The truth will out, and America will be stronger thanks to the men who put their country first and foremost. Both O’Neill and Corsi, along with the Swift Boat Veterans, should be commended for their candor.
