We would like to give a special thanks to the Robe Valley Fire Department for saving our home on Rivershore Lane from fire on Oct. 22.
Rick Handy, Tim Bond and the rest of the wonderful volunteers spent all Monday evening of Oct. 20 helping to evacuate the residents of Rivershore Lane from the raging Stillaguamish River. On Oct. 21 they were back at it helping any way they could with the damage from flooding.
At 4:15 a.m. on Oct. 22 our neighbor’s home erupted in a fireball. These wonderful guys were back at it, saving our home from destruction. With very little sleep and no pay, they’re heroes in our eyes.
