Oh, boy. I read with amazement The Herald article about the county Republicans reaching into their “bag of tricks” to pull out Jack “The Magic Genie” Turk to be their candidate for county executive.
Assuming Aaron Reardon will be the Democratic candidate (makes me shudder to think about it), what a choice that will be – a magician versus someone who appears to be “Let’s see what I can get away with behind their back” kind of guy, a magician in his own way. And county officials wonder why voter turnout tends to be low. Sigh …
